Simon has broad experience in all areas of employment law and works with others in the LangtonHudsonButcher team to advise on contentious and non-contentious matters. He regularly assists with privacy requests, labour inspectorate investigations, parental leave issues, personal grievances, redundancy and restructuring issues, disciplinary processes, managing poor performance and breaches of restraints of trade.
Simon has a keen interest in researching complex legal issues and keeping abreast of the latest employment changes in legislation and case law. He has written widely on employment law, currently lectures employment law at the University of Auckland, and is a contributing author to Mazengarb's Employment Law by LexisNexis.
